DAY 01
Reikiavic, Iceland
The first day begins with arrival at Keflavík International Airport (KEF),
where we will be waiting for you and then transfer to our hotel in Reykjavík.
We will meet the group to get to know each other and take a walk through the civic center of Iceland's capital city.

DAY 02 and DAY 03
Snæfellsnes Peninsula
After breakfast, we drive to the Snæfellsnes peninsula, home to some of the most photogenic scenery in the country.
Wild coastlines, the spectacular basalt column cliffs of Arnarstapi, the enchanting black church of Búðir, the lava field of Búðahraun, the impressive and peculiar sea pillars of Lóndrangar and Iceland's most photographed mountain, Kirkjuffel, await you.
Snæfellsnes is also one of the best places in Iceland to contemplate one of the absolute wonders of nature, the Northern Lights, so we will be alert at all times to go out with the camera at night.

DAY 04:
Snæfellsnes - Seljalandsfoss - Skogafoss - Reynisfjara
After the sunrise session at Kirkjufell, we will make our way to the epic scenery of Iceland's south coast.
Along the way, we will stop at the glorious Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful waterfall that you can tour in 360 degrees. In winter the rocks surrounding this waterfall can be frozen, making for perfect close-ups for all the pictures.
Nearby is the magnificent Skogafoss waterfall, a thundering giant with a dizzying 60-meter drop. You can get up close to this beast to capture the texture of the water rushing into the river below, or just stand back where you can shoot the waterfall framed by snow-capped cliffs.
Our sunset photo shoot will be on the beautiful black sand beach of Reynisfjara.
In the evening let's explore the possibility of photographing the northern lights again.

NORTHERN LIGHTS
ICELAND is one of the most privileged places to observe a great night show: The Aurora Borealis.
The Northern Lights are one of nature's greatest spectacles. An aurora is produced when charged particles from the Sun collide with the Earth's magnetic field. These particles from the solar wind are guided by the Earth's magnetic field and head towards the poles, returning the acquired energy in the form of light. This light can be produced with different intensity and wavelengths, which affect the color of the light we see.
Our Photo Tour always depends on the weather conditions, as the weather in Iceland can be very unpredictable indeed.
Regarding the Northern Lights, although it is very likely that they can be seen, we cannot guarantee that they will be visible on any given day of the tour, but we will go hunting for them,
it cannot be guaranteed that they will be visible on any given day of the tour, but we will go hunting for them at all times.

DAY 05
Vatnajökull National Park
Today we will head to Vatnajokull National Park, spending the morning photographing its incredible landscapes of lava rocks, glistening glacier tongues, impressive waterfalls and long stretches of desert-like black sand dotted with glistening white snow.
The afternoon will be spent in the serenity of the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where large icebergs float on the glassy surface of the water before drifting out to sea.
As the sun begins to set, we will head to the diamond beach for a chance to capture the glorious sunlight shining through the chunks of ice on the shore. This beach is perfect for practicing long exposure techniques as the waves sweep over the icebergs sitting on the black sand, creating a dreamy slow motion effect.
At night we will be on the lookout to photograph the northern lights.

DAY 06
Vatnajökull National Park
This morning we returned to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon for a leisurely sunrise photo session.
Today we will have the possibility to visit and photograph an ice cave, duration of the excursion is 03 hours, this activity is optional and is not included in the price of the trip.
Price of the excursion to Saphire Cave: USD 150
We will spend the rest of the day photographing some of the beautiful locations in this area.
At night we may have another opportunity to photograph the northern lights, we will try to capture them over the lagoon of the Jokulsarlon glacier or the nearby Fjallsarlon.

DAY 07
Vatnajökull National Park - Höfn
After breakfast, we will drive to the Stokksnes Peninsula, home of the impressive Vestrahorn Mountain.
This mountain has been nicknamed "Batman Mountain" for its jagged peaks, resembling the iconic superhero himself. Its foreground is full of compositions, from rolling black sand dunes amidst the snow, to grassy crops and icy puddles. Depending on the tide, we may be able to photograph Vestrahorn's reflection on the nearby beach, or the waves crashing around him.
We will continue photographing at Vestrahorn until the sun sets, in the hope that the northern lights will unfold over this impressive mountain.

DAY 08
Höfn - Vik
We will enter the Skaftafell Nature Reserve, famous for its beautiful scenery. Here, you will be able to photograph glacier tongues, lagoons, the peaks of majestic snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls and rivers flowing from glaciers.
For sunset, we will return along the south coast to Reynisfjara beach, where we will capture the Reynisdrangar sea stacks from a different angle. It will be the perfect setting for photographing the aurora, if it appears during the night.

DAY 09
Gullfoss - National Park Þingvellir - Geysir - Keflavic
Today will be spent exploring the three main attractions of the Golden Circle route: Þingvellir National Park, the geothermal area of Geysir, and the Gullfoss waterfall.
Þingvellir is a UNESCO heritage site in Iceland that lies within a rift valley caused by the separation of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
There are many compositions here, including rocky cliffs and huge fissures enveloped by snow. The highlight of our visit will be the impressive Öxarárfoss waterfall that flows from the Öxará River over the Almannagjá. The pool at the base of the waterfall is filled with boulders and, depending on conditions, there may be cracks in the ice that make for wonderful drivelines.
In the geothermal area of Geysir, you will have the opportunity to photograph the Strokkur geyser that erupts every few minutes, almost 20 meters high in the air!
Meanwhile, the nearby Gullfoss waterfall offers a spectacular view of the forces of nature.
When we have finished photographing along the Golden Circle, we will head to our accommodation in Keflavik.
