The White Mountain Range
The Cordillera Blanca is a stretch of the Andes, located in northern Peru and is considered the highest tropical mountain range in the world.
We have prepared a photographic tour of the most photogenic areas, which we will take advantage of in our excursions during the day and also at night. We will have a mountain range that extends for 200 km. surrounded by lagoons of glacial origin and peaks that exceed 6 000 mts. of altitude, which will leave us amazed from the first moment.
We have chosen the best time of the year to photograph the Milky Way at night in one of the darkest skies in the world and with a very dry air to record the stars, planets and constellations surrounded by Andean landscapes.
We will visit impressive locations throughout our tour: Mountains, Glacial Lakes, Rock Forests, Panoramic Viewpoints, Rivers and Forests with a rich flora and fauna. We have also prepared a day dedicated to trekking to have a real mountain experience, which will take us to visit the beautiful Laguna 69, considered the most beautiful lagoon in Peru, along with the also wonderful Laguna Parón. We will also visit Volcanic Rock Forests to compose next to the Milky Way.
A great photographic adventure awaits us in the Cordillera Blanca!
