MOROCCO: LIGHTS AND COLORS OF THE SAHARA
We have organized a fascinating tour through the most suggestive landscapes of Morocco:
We will visit a mystical country, full of history, culture and a hidden nature of the Sahara desert in a photographic version.
Our adventure will start in the city of Marrakech, the most touristic city in Morocco and we will visit its historical center known for its markets and festivals.
We will travel east to visit the waterfalls of Ouzoud, visit the caves of Iminifri, travel through the Valley of Roses to reach the impressive city of Merzouga, surrounded by sand dunes that we will photograph also during the night. We will have the great experience of camping in the desert in the "Jaimas" (Arabian tents) and the ride on the camels to enjoy a total Sahara experience.
In our Photographic Expedition we will give particular dedication to the night part and we have programmed the dates to have the best nights with milky way and you will learn how to plan, make and process astrophotographies with two specialists in the field: Jheison Huerta and Jose David Riquelme.

DAY 01
MARRAKECH, MOROCCO
This first day we will welcome all participants who will be arriving throughout the day.
A car of our staff will be waiting for you at the airport.
We will take this day of rest and stroll through the center of Marrakech.
DAY 02
OUZOUD
After breakfast we will walk around Marrakerch visiting the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the souks with our guide Karim.
After lunch we will move to the Ouzoud waterfalls for sunset and night photography.
DAY 03:
SKOURA
Sunrise at the waterfalls of Ouzoud and after breakfast we will move to the waterfalls and caves of Iminifri.
We will pass through the Berber villages. Overnight in the city of Skoura.
ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY IN THE DESERT
The Sahara desert is an ideal setting for the practice of landscape astrophotography, the dunes will create surreal shapes for the foreground,
then we will have one of the cleanest skies in the world with little light pollution to obtain a milky way in all its splendor.
You will have two expert instructors in the field who will instruct you throughout the trip to raise the level of your images.
DAY 04
MERZOUGA
After breakfast we will move to Merzouga, we will pass through the valley of roses, the Todra Gorge and Erfoud (fossils).
We will arrive at the hotel in Merzouga around 6 o'clock and walk through the dunes at sunset.
In the evening we will be able to visit the dunes on foot located very close to our hotel.
DAY 05
DESERT CAMP
In the morning we will visit the market of Rissani, then we will have lunch in Khamlia (original village of Mali), after lunch we will enjoy their Gwana music.

Free afternoon at the hotel until 5:00 p.m. where we can enjoy the swimming pool until the time of the camel ride that will take us to our tent in the middle of the desert.

We will have dinner and a night photography session with our guide and model Moha.
DAY 06
RETURN TO MERZOUGA
After breakfast in the "Jaimas" we will go to the hotel for the photo processing course until lunch time.
Afternoon at leisure, we can enjoy a quad or buggy ride through the dunes or again a camel (Not included in the price).
In the evening night photography session again in the dunes.
DAY 07
OUARZAZATE
After breakfast we head to Ouarzazate.
We will pass through Rissani to Alnife passing through the Dra Valley (the largest valley of palm trees in Morocco). (The largest palm valley in Morocco).
We will be able to make stops at the Tizgi waterfall.
DAY 08
MARRAKECH
After breakfast we will head to the film studios of Ouarzazate and then stop at Kasbah ait ben Haddou (where series such as Game of Thrones, The Gladiator and other movies have been filmed).

We will make several stops to take pictures of beautiful places.
We will cross the Atlas Mountain Range (2,260 mts.) that separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean Sea and arrive in Marrakech.
DAY 09
MARRAKECH
After breakfast we will drive to Marrakech-Menara International Airport for the return flight.

Jheison Huerta
Jheison Huerta has received international recognition for his work in the dissemination of Astrophotography in Latin America that earned him the recognition of NASA with the APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day), he is a professor of the Astrophotography course of the Domestika portal and his work was published in the most important media: BBC, National Geographic, History, Mirror, Telemundo, Globo, El Comercio and more.
In 2020 he was nominated by Photopills among the 25 most inspiring photographers in the world and his work is part of the book "Photopillers of the Year 2020".
In 2022 collaborates with National Geographic in the making of the series "Welcome to the Earth" hosted by Will Smith) and broadcast on the Disney+ platform.
José D. Riquelme
José D. Riquelme is a landscape photographer born in Murcia (Spain). He applies his more than 20 years of experience in graphic design and printing to his landscape and night photography.
He has received several international awards and recognitions such as "Photographer of the Year 2021" in the night category of the 35Awards, four gold medals at the "Trierenberg Super Circuit" in Vienna, Remarkable Art Work at the "Siena International Photo Awards", Gold Medal at the Pano Epson Awards, etc.
He currently gives workshops and photo tours all over the world.

CANCELLATIONAND REFUND POLICIES
In case the participant cancels his/her participation to the event, he/she will be able to obtain a full refund of the reservation if he/she communicates it up to 30 days before the start date of the trip (considering 5% commissions in case of payment by credit card).
In case the participant cancels his/her participation in the event more than 30 days before the trip, the organization will not make any reimbursement.
