START OF JOURNEY
October 12, 2026: Keflavik International Airport (KEF)
END OF TRIP
21 October 2026: Keflavik International Airport (KEF)

DAY 01:
Reykjavik, Iceland
The first day begins with arrival at Keflavík International Airport (KEF), where our staff will be waiting to escort you to our comfortable hotel in the city of Reykjavík. We will meet with the group to get acquainted and take a stroll through the civic center of Iceland's capital city. If the evening forecast is favorable, we will prepare for our first sighting of the Aurora Borealis from a vantage point in the city.

DAY 02 and Day 03:
Snaefellness Peninsula, Mount Kirkjufell
After breakfast, our adventure in Iceland begins. We will depart for the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, which boasts some of the most photogenic scenery in the entire country. Wild coastlines, the spectacular basalt column cliffs of Arnarstapi, the enchanting black church of Búðir, the lava field of Búðahraun, the impressive and peculiar sea pillars of Lóndrangar and the most photographed mountain in the world: the famous Kirkjuffel and its waterfall await us. Snæfellsnes is one of the best places in Iceland to see the Northern Lights in all their splendor, so we will be attentive at all times to go out with the camera at night.

DAY 04:
Seljalandfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls
After the sunrise session at Kirkjufell, we will make our way to the epic scenery of Iceland's southern coast.
Along the way, we'll stop at the glorious Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful waterfall that you can tour in 360 degrees.
Nearby is the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall, a thundering giant with a dizzying 60-meter drop.
You can get up close to this beast to capture the texture of the water rushing into the river below, or simply stand back where you can shoot the waterfall framed by snow-capped cliffs.

DAY 05:
Vik, Black Beach and Glacier Lagoon
Today we will head to Vatnajokull National Park, spending the morning photographing its incredible lava rock landscapes,
glistening glacier tongues, stunning waterfalls and long stretches of desert-like black sand dotted with glistening white snow. The afternoon will be spent in the serenity of the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where large icebergs float on the glassy surface of the water before drifting out to sea. After the long journey we will enjoy a delicious dinner in one of Iceland's most emblematic restaurants.

THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
ICELAND is one of the most privileged places in the world to observe the wonderful Aurora Borealis.
They are one of nature's greatest spectacles. An aurora is produced when charged particles from the Sun collide with the Earth's magnetic field. These particles from the solar wind are guided by the Earth's magnetic field and head towards the poles, giving back the acquired energy in the form of light. This light can be produced with different intensity and wavelengths, which affect the color of the light.
Our tour depends on the weather conditions, as the weather in Iceland can be very unpredictable and we are forced to study the forecast at all times. Although the probability of seeing the Aurora Borealis is very high, there is no guarantee that they will be visible on any given day of the tour, but we will go hunting for them whenever possible.

DAY 06:
Vatnajokull National Park, Ice Caves
Today we will have the opportunity to visit and photograph the impressive Ice Caves of the Vatnajokull Glacier (the largest glacier in Europe), an experience that will leave us speechless by the surreal landscape that we will see inside the Glacier with the filtering light that paints with turquoise tones the huge blocks of ice. (The excursion to the Ice Caves is optional and is not included in the tour price).
In the afternoon we will return to the Glacier Lagoon to photograph the beautiful Diamond Beach. This beach is perfect for practicing long exposure techniques, as the waves sweep over the icebergs sitting on the black sand, creating a dreamy "silk" effect. At night we will be on the lookout to photograph the Northern Lights in this magical place.

DAY 07:
Stokksnes Peninsula, Mount Vestrahorn
After breakfast, we will drive to the Stokksnes Peninsula, home to the impressive Vestrahorn Mountain.
This mountain is also known as "Batman Mountain" for its jagged peaks, resembling the iconic superhero's logo. Its foreground is full of compositions, from rolling black sand dunes amidst the snow, to grassy crops and icy puddles.
Depending on the tide, we may be able to photograph Vestrahorn's reflection on the black beach. We will continue to photograph the
Vestrahorn until the sun sets, in the hope that the Northern Lights will unfold over this impressive mountain.

DAY 08:
Skaftafell National Park, Vik
We will enter the Skaftafell Nature Reserve, famous for its beautiful scenery. Here, you can photograph glacier tongues, lagoons, the peaks of majestic snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls and rivers flowing from glaciers. We will visit the famous Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. This canyon is famous for its beauty and impressive rock walls, which earned him numerous appearances in movies and video clips. We will pass through the town of Vik to photograph some spots before waiting for the sunset inside an epic waterfall.

DAY 09:
Golden Circle, Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir
Today we will spend the day exploring the three main attractions of the Golden Circle route: Þingvellir National Park, theGeysir geothermal area, andGullfoss waterfall. We will admire the Geysir's 20-meter-high water jet, and the nearby Gullfoss waterfall will offer us a spectacular view of the forces of nature. The highlight of our visit will be the impressive Öxarárfoss waterfall with some truly breathtaking close-ups. When we have finished photographing along the Golden Circle, we will head to our hotel in Keflavik.
