We present a grand photography tour of one of the jewels of the Alps: the Dolomites.
This will be an 8-day tour where we will visit the most spectacular locations in the Italian Alps. The tour will begin in the beautiful city of Venice to photograph its canals and bridges at the most interesting times of day. From there, we will travel to the heart of the Alps to visit impressive locations such as: the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, the famous Cadini di Misurina viewpoint, Lake Sorapis, Lake Braies, Val de Funes, and Alpe di Siusi, taking advantage of the best light conditions to capture unique images. We will go on moderate treks to reach the panoramic viewpoints, guided by our bilingual guides who will teach you techniques to expand your photographic knowledge. DAY 01:
Venice, Italy
The meeting point will be Venice Marco Polo International Airport (VCE), where our staff will be waiting for the group of participants to accompany them to our Hotel. It will be a day to get to know the beautiful city of Venice, surrounded by canals and its wonderful architecture.
We will have the opportunity to photograph it during sunset and sunrise to get the best pictures.
DAY 02:
Venice - Dolomites
We will wake up very early to photograph the romantic city of Venice at dawn and have the main attractions without massive presence of tourists such as: Piazza San Marco, the Gran Canale, the Accademia Bridge, the Rialzo Bridge among others.
After breakfast we will depart north to have our first encounter with the Italian Dolomites. After blue hour we will settle into our beautiful Hotel under the foothills of the mountains.
DAY 03:
Dolomites, Italy
After breakfast we will get ready for a day of trekking in one of the most beautiful locations of the Dolomites: we will visit Le Tre Cime di Lavaredo, where we will be able to appreciate majestic mountains and lagoons. After the blue hour we will return to our hotel to rest and enjoy a delicious Italian dinner.
DAY 04:
Dolomites, Italy
We will wake up very early to trek to Lake Sorapis, one of the most photogenic lakes in the Dolomites that enjoys a spectacular panoramic viewpoint surrounded by mountains and forests. After the trekking we will visit another "secret" location for sunset photography and return to our hotel for a well deserved rest.
DAY 05:
Dolomites, Italy
After breakfast we will get ready for the trip to the Val di Funes and Alpe di Siusi. On the way we will visit Alpine Lakes with reflections and turquoise colors that will leave us impressed. By sunset we will reach another spectacular location in the Dolomites: the Braies Lake.
We will have the opportunity to walk and sail on this beautiful lake, waiting for the golden hour where it shows its best version.
DAY 06:
Dolomites, Italy
After breakfast we will leave for another epic spot: Mount Seceda and its cliffs will offer us spectacular images. We will use the famous "funivie" cableways to reach the top and enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps.
At sunset we will visit the Val di Funes and its characteristic churches that will give us one of the best postcards of the trip.
DAY 07:
Dolomites, Italy
We will leave early in the morning to photograph one of the panoramic viewpoints in the Val di Funes and Val di Gardenia.
We will have a classic alpine lunch at a local trattoria and get ready to photograph the sunset at another top location in the Dolomites: Lake Carezza.
DAY 08:
Venice, Italy
After breakfast we will prepare the luggage for the transfer to Venice Marco Polo International Airport.
We will say goodbye after a great trip in Italy.

Jheison Huerta
The expedition will be led by Peruvian photographer Jheison Huerta and his team of collaborators.
He is the founder of the Photo Andes agency, which has been organizing photography tours since 2014 to some of the such as Peru, Norway, Iceland, Morocco, Bolivia, Italy, and Argentina, among others.
He is currently a Sony brand ambassador as an Alpha Partner for Latin America. Jheison Huerta has received international recognition for his work in promoting astrophotography in Latin America, which earned him recognition fromNASA with the APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day). He also teaches the astrophotography course on the Domestikawebsite, and his work has been published in
most important media outlets: BBC, National Geographic, History, Mirror, Telemundo, Globo, El Comercio, and many more. He was nominated by the Photopills app as one of the 25 most inspiring photographers in the world, and his work is featured the book "Photopillers of the Year 2020."
He is currently collaborating with National GeographicUK on the production of the series"Welcome To The Earth,"
presented by Will Smith and broadcast on the Disney+ platform.
