Welcome to the Astrophotography Workshop in the Peruvian Andes.
It will be 03 days where we will share our knowledge about the various techniques to photograph the Milky Way in one of the best night skies in the world: The Cordillera Blanca.
Our operational base will be the city of Huaraz, where we will conduct theoretical lectures and practical field trips with all the appropriate logistics for the participant to enjoy the experience accompanied by a staff of experts and leading photographers worldwide.
The practical part of the Workshop will take place in spectacular locations of the Cordillera Blanca with altitudes between 3900 and 4200 meters and all the displacements will be in our comfortable transportation. DAY 01: Thursday
Travel from Lima to Huaraz
09:00 pm: Boarding at Terminal Terrestre Lima - San Isidro area.
DAY 02: Friday
Huaraz
Upon arrival to the city of Huaraz our staff will be waiting for you at the bus terminal to take you to the hotel.
We will have a theoretical talk about the "Technique of Landscape Astrophotography" by Jheison Huerta.
After lunch we will prepare the photographic equipment to move to the chosen location in the Cordillera Blanca for the practical part and registration of the astrophotography.

DAY 03: Saturday
Huaraz
After breakfast, we will have a review of the photographs taken the night before and we will have a theoretical talk on the "Night Panoramic Technique" by Jheison Huerta.

After lunch we will prepare the photographic equipment to move to the location chosen in the Cordillera Blanca

DAY 04: Sunday
Huaraz
After breakfast, we will go on a photographic tour to the northern area of the Cordillera Blanca to reach a panoramic point located at 4,700 mts. and photograph the highest mountain of Peru: The Huascaran (6,768 mts.).

Arrival to Lima
Arrival in the city of Lima is scheduled for 06:00 am in the area of San Isidro.

Our Workshop takes place in locations with altitudes between 3,000 and 4,200 meters above sea level,

Jheison Huerta
The workshop will have as speaker the Peruvian photographer Jheison Huerta, accompanied by his staff of collaborators.
Founder of the agency Photo Andes, in charge of organizing photographic tours since 2014 in the most photogenic destinations in the world, such as: Peru, Norway, Iceland, Morocco, Bolivia, Italy Peru, Norway, Iceland, Morocco, Bolivia, Italy, Italy, Argentina among others.
He is currently a Sony brand ambassador as Alpha Partner for Latin America and is also a professor of Astrophotography of the Domestika.org portal .

He is currently collaborating with National Geographic UK in the production of the series "Welcome To The Earth ", presented by Will Smith and broadcasted by National Geographic UK.
